As a former Crew Chief on the AH-64A I must say he's right. It is ugly, but it operates at night and your dead before you even know its there, so who cares what it looks like. btw, The Apache is ALL AMERICAN! Designed and built by Americans. However just like other aircraft it does follow basic concepts pioneered by others. As for those who say its not as good as the Lotus, think again. It may not be as agile, but it can track and kill any enemy before the enemy can see it.

I don't think that you could be more wrong, you should check your facts. the appache came into service in 1984 while the rooivalk came into service in 1999.

Good to know that these guys appreciate SOMETHING of ours...they made fun of our Abrams tanks and all of our cars, but at least they know that we rule the skies. That AMERICAN AH-64 Apache could've blown the shit out of that Lotus, its turret rotates 360 degrees! It could shoot the Lotus while hovering in place!!! The bullets that thing fires is the size of the Lotus itself! I keep mentioning a Lotus because they later outmanuver the Apache with one.
