Now for those saying that most of the games looked like 16 bit versions. That's because they WERE 16 bit versions. Most developers took a look at the complex and incomplete programming documentation and said "screw it" and programmed instead for the 16/32bit MC68000 processor that is in it. The very same processor that is inside the Atari ST, Amiga and Genesis / Megadrive.

If you owned the PC version, and most people who bought Doom likely bought that version, then you had the best possible version of Doom avaiable at the time. Let's face it: most of the console versions were inferior ports of the PC version. The PlayStation port is the only one that could rival the PC version. The exception is the Nintendo64 version as that one was uniquely developed for that machine from the ground up.

An awesome name,Atari Jaguar,had a good emblem,had good hardware,and decent games(if not better at the time),but their commercials sucked in my opinion,except the doom one which is awesome,i always hated the "do the math" motto,sounded to nerd-like,if their going to complete the second atari jaguar,they need better commercials and a better motto,or non for it at all :P .First 64 bit system.

I actually owned a jaguar when ti came out it was a gift from my parents and I actually enjoyed it i couldn't afford a PC so jag was truly the best and only way i could play doom as well as Wallenstein that wasn't horrible like the SNES port. I also loved the game Dino Dudes it was a fun game.

The flower is for an alternate ending. To get out you hold the action button and 'float' off the holes until you CLEAR them, then drop down. These are basic concepts, people. If you cannot get them, then maybe it's not the game that sucks. Someone else did a series of videos defending the game, and I'm sorry. ATR sound is harsher and intense due to the fact ATR liked to push the mid frequency sound to the limit [mid frequency is the most annoying harsh sounds] where prodigy liked slick lower frequency sound hence the deep bass sound. ATR is more leaning more towards punk/gabba where prodigy is more hip hop/breakbeat. both great bands but totally different sound/style.

Listen to anything from The Destroyer, then Intelligence and Sacrifice, THEN Futurist. I loved this game.. but then again I didn't bother about the sound/graphics, it was all about beating the game. One day I found a pattern you could move in where the ghosts simply couldn't catch you. On a later stage when they got alot faster, you could 'trap' them in the up/down doorways. I trapped them there and went for dinner after playing a couple of hours. Either way, at 999,999 points the game reset points but ghost speed was the same. THAT was disappointing, no reward, no high score.
