it is because of the many games for the ps2. Like now they are making a whole bunch of sequels to games for ps2. Like God of War 3, Spyro, Metal Gear Solid, and Grand Turismo. PS2 has 2,400 games and PS3 has only 300 with a total of 2,700 games. Xbox has 1,200 games and the 360 600 games, with a total of 1,800 games. And think about it, Xbox 360 has been around for a longer time than the PS3.

Well, PS3 is way better than PS2 but can you Afford that kind of ultimate 3D Rendering Machine!? I Know it's Cooler, more Stylish, More Power. -I'm O.K with PS2 cause it's much more cheaper, Their games are very cheap and affordable for entertainment, More games! -Xbox 360 is good too. -PS3 is nice but have few games at this moment. There is a lot of hate in here. Interesting video, didn't change my opinions on any of the systems tho. PS3 looks pretty nice, still prefer my 360 simply because I have one currently, and its what my friends have. For your information i own an xbox 360, a nintendo wii, and others. the only reason i didnt want a ps3 is beacause i didnt think it was good enough. I owned a ps2 (sold it to make some money to buy the 360) and i thought it was great but the ps3 didn't impress me. Don't be such a bitch. And I do have a life thank you very much. 2k8 is smoother and 2k sports had the skill stick 3 years before NHL 09. BUt yes nhl 2k9 is a waste of money, NHL 09 is better, but NHL 2k8 is better than NHL 09, and that's a shame! NHL 2k8 has enough sliders to CUSTOMIZE your play, NHL 09 does not :(

That depends on your country. There are certain countries (I have a list ready) that haven't prohibited their use. mod chips are only 'illegal' when used to "circumvent copy protection mechanisms". It is perfectly legal to create and play home brews, and copy games you already own. SNES Station is a home brew and as long as you own the original SNES games then it is not illegal. No it is not, as long as he owns the original (or it's a homebrew like Super Mario World R, which I have never seen... but I have a couple of HB's for it). That is why it is legal to buy Swap Magic and Modchips. As long as you are making a backup of a game you actual own then it is 100% legal. If you tried to sell it or let someone borrow it, however, then you have a problem (though copyright is broken millions of times a day... so w/e).

Well basically the graphic engine was updated, the originals were adjusted for the differant aspect ratios and voice was put in. the sex scenes in the original standard edition was removed. And no Kanon the visual novel has not, and probably will not, be translated into english. though you can just as easily watch the anime as it is released this 08 season

The Playstation 2 startup bios, firmware, and mini OS are not programmed - though the PS2 is capable of this easily - to output in any resolution but 480i, thus given the fact that most VGA compliant PC monitors are not designed, or even necessarily capable, of displaying any resolution below 480P - twice that of 480i -, then it's very understandable and normal for the bootup screen to not show. I'm not an idiot i know that there IS a Linux for PS2, however, this is clearly not it. For one thing when he inserted the disc the screen remained blank, despite the fact his ps2 was on and sending a signal as you can hear the audio. The ps2 cannot send a 1024x768 signal, it is limited to 480p/i (not sure if it supports p). That is why it's remarkably easy to tell that this is a fake and that you are the idiot, not me.

this game was really easy for me...i set up tidus with quick hit and haste and somethin to where he had to use only one mp to do anything...i got off like 3 or 4 hits before anything else...its been a while but...after i got quick hit for tidus...that was all she wrote and i blew thru the game quick...i tell ya tho...the hardest ff's i played were 1 and 2...even tho on 2 you cheat the system...tip...dont remember which one but keep the blood swords...they do great damage on the last boss

My laptop is a fairly decent computer and this game is the only game (that and FFX but it keep crashing at the same point with me) that does not choke when I try to run it. So yes you need a very powerful system that will cost you more then the cost of a used (or even new) PS2 to run games well on this emulator.

DC as in Dreamcast? I'm running this on my laptop computer and yes it does need a fairly new video card to run properly but it is cheaper just to run it on the real PS2 at this point then to try and upgrade your computer to be able to emulate it.

It's hard to say. The newer version caused Kingdom Hearts to crash when I tried to start a new game with what appeared to be a video card error for me but that was before I found a new driver and I haven't tried it since then mostly due to all the other stuff I've been trying to catch up on and the fact that running it on a real PS2 is a lot better and it's cheaper just to get a PS2 and a real copy of this game then it is to buy a computer that can run the emulator at full speed.

I use a Logitech Rumble Pad 2 PC USB controller with this emulator. You can use a keyboard but only with the Lilypad and TwinPad controller plugins that do not come with it but can be downloaded from the plugins section on the official site however, I do not recommend using the keyboard because most games are impossible to play unless you have an anolog controller.

It's improved a bit since I made this video but the reason it's like that is because my computer barely has the specs needed to run this emulator at full speed.

Just a standard boot of linux on the ps2, but with a 2.4 selfcompiled kernel ( no cross ) and some other things all self-maded :
O2MOD ( A very nice modchip, let me force the ps2 in vga mode in games / browsers / dvd as well ), VGA PS2 Cable ( Just a direct cable, the ps2 use a Sync on Green VGA output )
