I'm not sure if anybody else has mentioned this...but if you look closely at the music being played from the movie at the Ceilidth; on stage with the "Acetones" playing piano is none other than the wonderful Alan Clark. I would guess Alan's contribution to Mark's music must be immeasurable. They are all fantastic musicians, perfect symmetry...led by a true MASTER

That final scene was shot in my apartment here in Houston. After I saw the film, I sold it. The film so touched me I could never live there. The memory and visuals of Mac coming home to his / my place..emptying his pockets of the shells..and standing on my balcony. It was a great view. The bulletin board in the kitchen -- all the scraps, photos, etc. were my own.

I read your message, and the restraining order was filed by the ex-wife and the father. An investigation was made and threats to a 3rd party is not considered a crime (Trooper said he would put a bullet in his father-in-law's head if he helped his ex obtain a divorce lawyer). Yet the investigation lead to only a 5 day suspension. To be honest, there are a large number of POLICE OFFICERS that are suprised he still has a job..

I'm Canadian-Indian and I found this a funny reminder of how India is in some parts when I went to visit their. Look at all the traffic all the different types of transportation people take; it's amazing and even overwhelming during the first week I came to see India. I find the people crossing the railroad tracks with the on-coming train like daredevils but for them its daily life. 4:41 Someone yells "lets go, lets go, are you sleeping?" Lol.
