I love national Geo documentary films. The photography is next to none and the sound recording is amazing. The only problem i have is when they have American narrators who speak to the audience like little kids. Just my opinion anyway.

That's what I said !! pound per pounds the leopard will win!! and whoever disagreed he or she needs to go and do some research before posting a comment.

but you are looking on the side of the leopards , you have too see the side of the hyenas .hyenas have those thick leather skin, there are not much about fighters ,but when they bite ,they don't easy let go. in a fight anything goes ?? I hate those hyenas but I have to giving credit that there are powerful predator .a male leopard is about 20 to 40 % bigger than the female leopard can reach upto 200 pound .I think pound per pounds the hyena will get kill easy .
By: bigmonkeyman44. on 26 Nov 08, 11:16:06
the hyena's too slow to get a bite on a leopard much faster than a lion. plus the hyena cant bite harder.
By: jonx9090. on 26 Nov 08, 09:59:02
spotted hyenas can weight up to 200.pound the leopards has a powerfull bite that can penetrate a human skull easy? if it come into a fight between them? the leopard will kill the hyena . and the hyena will hurt the leopard badly !! leopard will own the hyena !!
By: bigmonkeyman44. on 26 Nov 08, 08:41:12
leopards own hyenas
By: jonx9090. on 26 Nov 08, 04:54:11
thats is a good one !! LOL am with you ?? Leopard won't fight a hyena because there are afraid to get hurt to the point that he won't be avail to hunt anymore !!!'.. wich is being smart

A Leopard i smuch more agile than a Hyena......not to mention they are excellent tree climbers......but the Hyena does have the most powerful bite in Africa.....as for who would win a fight.....that is something i'd like to see.....Leopard vs Hyena! i think a Leopard would win.....if he can stay away frmo the Hyenas bite....but just like street gangs........Hyena's can't fight one on one....they rather ganng up on you......unless you are smaller than them.
By: springbokk4life. on 02 Oct 08, 22:02:16
bigmonkey you sound like an animal expert except for one problem....your wrong..the hyhena has pound for pound the strongest jaws in the mala mala game reserve which includes even lions. as for your theory of leopard letting hyhena have the kill is stupid. this is wildlife its all survival. leopard lets it have the kill because it cant kill the hyhena and vice versa. this is two animals that are nto gonna end up fighting each other.

By: dave23486. on 29 Aug 08, 13:47:41

By: bigmonkeyman44. on 25 Aug 08, 22:25:00
Mother Cougar vs Grizzly Bear ^ a couger isnt much bigger than a leopard ...a leopard would kick the hyenas ass
By: bigmonkeyman44. on 25 Aug 08, 21:53:26
dude single leopard vs a single hyena the leopard would kick it's ass...even my dad on the phone laughed at you idiots...even he said the leopard would kick a hyena's ass he said they'd need a pack of them.
By: bigmonkeyman44. on 25 Aug 08, 21:40:37
nope it's bite is stronger and it's the stronger animal reason it will attack hyena's and hyenas dont attack them.
By: 105km. on 25 Aug 08, 20:42:36
lol - are you an idiot? a leopard has a much weaker bite, hyenas have one of the most strongest mammal bites in Africa...
By: bigmonkeyman44. on 25 Aug 08, 20:20:55
a leopard has a stronger bite failure
By: 105km. on 25 Aug 08, 18:30:44
Yes, I know that, its for wikipedia, I think, but they still have a wery poweruff bite, tough no the strongest...
By: bigmonkeyman44. on 25 Aug 08, 18:00:38
Spotted Hyenas and, to a lesser extent, Striped and Brown Hyenas, have powerful carnassial teeth adapted for cutting flesh and premolars for crushing bone. Spotted hyenas have a strong bite proportional to their size, but the view that they have the strongest bite is a myth; and a number of other animals (including the Tasmanian devil) are proportionately stronger
