u can do it really easily. just cut up the lipstick and put it in a glass container surrounded by boiling water ( like a double boiler) and and a little bit of beeswax and vitamin E oil to harden the formula and moisterize,stir it a bunch then pour it in the container, and refrigerate it a bit. You can also try mixing your favorite colors or add glitter. Anoter idea is to melt beeswax vitaming and your powder eyeshadow to make a cream eyeshadow or liner. Hope this helps!!

Thanx so much for this video :) I tried applying individual lashes by myself before and I had a hell of a time :( ended up running out of time too so I had to pull them all out. you can use a q-tip and a little olive oil and just swipe some oil in where the lashes are, leave it for about 1 minute, then pull the false ones off. The oil will soften the glue and it will be less painful to remove. You will have better luck reusing strip lashes than the individual ones.

I love all your tips. Lovely to see a pro at work! Your vids are so calm, well prepared and well presented. You have v good teaching skills,v v good. I have done this for years but in a much more chaotic way using microwave saves a lot of cleaning up ,mixing colours and great for getting the last bit out of favourite lipsticks.Some of them have an inch left in the tube after they seem finished. hey blankstate - i have a video on sanitizing makeup before use, if you havent seen that. For lipsticks, I dip the tip in alcohol, shave the tip by rubbing in paper towel a couple times, dip again in alcohol, wipe dry, then apply.

omg....this was really dissapointing after watching all those 8 minutes. the hair turned out so flat. i'm really suprised you didn't brush the hair out. you should have used a slightly smaller curling iron and held it for longer and then brushed it out and set the wave pattern.

Thanks for the video. The only problem I had with this was the hair spray, and the big pin curls. I always thought to achieve the soft but bouncy waves was to use a not-so-strong hold hairspray, and for hair like your model, you would have to use tighter pin curls or sleep with them over night since it's harder for straight hair to hold curls. But anyway, I like watching because it gave a good visual on what exactly to do :)

Her makeup looks great, but the waves are way too loose. If you don't have that wave kissing the cheekbone, it isn't Veronica Lake. In my experience, you would either need to do tighter pincurls, or use hot rollers. Even though hot rollers are really ungainly, they're usually the best was to approach retro looks like this one. Also, this is one of the only styles in which you can brush after you curl, since the waves are meant to be soft and ethereal. Thanks for the video.

hey senses, for layered hair its best to spray the strips first with hairspray or setting spray, then curl with your iron. This way the layer with cluster together. Make sure to pin the curls after using the iron so that the heat works the curls further.

hey babyboo - its always safe to start medium, then build as needed, always step back and look at your bride to see how it looks from a couple feet back. Also, constantly take digital picture so you can also see what it looks like behind the lens. You're the artist, so when you achieve the look you're going for, thats when you stop.

hey iutotmo - you can pretty much use any waterproof mascara. It will also help i fyou use a lash primer, most of mascara smudging is caused by oils in the lashes. Much like hair they do get oily. When concealing my acne scars, I just use Smashbox Photo Finish to prime and fill in the crevisces, the I use Studio Finish concealer to conceal the deeper ones. Then I find Studio Fix Liquid the best for me when even-ing evrything out.

Hey Koren! I dunno bout u but I'm a diehard What Not to Wear (US) fan and they had this episode in 2006 entitled "Jeannie P". In it, Carmindy shapes the lady's eyebrows using some sort of powder that she first brushed on the entire brow (small MAC brush) and then used a makeup wedge and rubbed it along the brow. The brow came out perfectly shaped, with all the strays gone and w/o plucking. Tell me, do you know where this miracle powder is sold, b/c I would LUV some! Thnx and I luv ur vids!

Your eye for color is just fantastic. I noticed that within the first five or six minutes of the video, the color of shading with the dark eye makeup you were doing on your forehead matched the natural shadow on your neck EXACTLY. Wonderful job! This is by far the most chilling skull makeup I've seen. Oh, and Happy Halloween.

not if you set it wil setting powder. Setting any cream products with powder prevents it from smearing, smudging, and tranferring. The white I used is cake makeup, it sets to a sry matte finish. I still powder it just incase.
