Hahaha 'glorified pub rockers', thats probably the best description of Oasis I've ever heard. Nice one mate. Quality song, My fav Doves song I think. Reminds me a little of Mogwai.

I always wondered if it was about an ex-lover whom had comitted suicide... Coffins are commonly made from cedar wood and a coffin could be interpreted as a small room... The part when Jimi sings "I'll be a shadow, in the cedar room. And leave just a memory, alone with you" could be part of the suicide note. The rest of the lyrics could be about Jimi apologising for not noticing how miserable he'd made the suicide victim (by judging or ignoring them over the years).

I have the pleasure of serving Paul most days in the shop I work in in Glasgow's west end and I can say the man is nothing short of a geniune star,very VERY humble and a true gentleman!! A guy I've only really got to know in the past year but I've been a fan for years,Tinstle town is still in my top 5 songs of all time so to realy meet him and get on so well is amazing. Paul!,your a real star!! :)
