The correct English spelling is Kyiv - you should find that all informed and new sources are slowly adopting the correct spelling correcting the Grammatically incorrect Russian name Kiev which was enforced in Ukraine during soviet repression. I agree with you 110%. Not many people can sing "oh darling", or "maybe I'm amazed" or "golden slumbers" like Paul has over the years. I would also add that VERY FEW SINGERS( if any) can sing "HELTER SKELTER" like Paul did in his "PRIME"! He definately is one of the best rock singers ever. I saw him in concert 4 different times a few years ago and he sounded great! Everyone I went with said it was the best concert they ever went to. I hate to see him get older, He still is my all-time favorite.

well, it depends on who you ask. I also use Kyiv most of the time, since it reads closer to the Ukrainian pronunciation, but if you ask a linguist, they will tell you that 'Kiev' is correct (and this is how they spell it in British English), since you can hardly find a word with "yi" in English, and English names of other cities often differ from the original pronunciation (say, Moscow). So, to me it is not that important... Besides, this is just a soccer video - hope you enjoyed it.

mussorgsky was a bit of a musical radical in his day. he didn't have the same training that his contemporaries had and was looked down on because of that. no one could ever know but i think mussorgsky would have loved this interpretation of his music. i think he would been amazed at the technology.

WOW!!!! That's what i call a great performance - sex appeal, great music, inspired words, dancing with heavy instruments......sigh!! haha totally, the drummer in the band im in rarely makes mistakes, and when he does, "We were out of time" which we probably were, but im a guitarists like me are usually horrible at keeping time. And every guitarist knows the look you get grom the drummer when you get out of time.
