All star camps are meaningless? So being invited to the premier evaluation camp in the industry at that time with the elite prospects in the nation and dominating them means nothing? Right. That is why every recruiting servcice and collegiate program attends these events because they are meaningless? Forget the fact there are only maybe 15 prospects that have ever been invited to ABCD all 4 years in high school, let alone his dominance there.

Really, well how much documentation do you need? His ranking only declined as a senior and it did not decline much as he never dropped out of the top 5 on Rivals, nor ever lost the top spot on Scoutdotcom, the top 2 recruiting services in the business along with HoopScoop. Number 1 from 7th grade up until after the spring evaluation period in 2006 with a up and down summer starting at the Kingwood Classic.

Below average shooter? Right. 25+ foot shooting range from Triple Threat and Off the Dribble, and you call that below average? Please. And you probably believe that Rose is a lights out shooter? Or that Gordon is a exceptional playmaker? Cotton was a physical marvel, and never worked on his developed his ball skills after his sophomore year.

LOL. Playing well in a couple all-star camps is meaningless. Are you going to cite a few dunk contests as well? There is a reason why Mayo's HS ranking declined as he grew older. Guys like Beasley, Gordon, Love, Rose, et al. surpassed Mayo because scouts realized that he is a below average shooter with unimpressive athleticism.

Remember Schea Cotton? OJ is the 21st century version of Schea Cotton. Ordinary quickness and athleticism is not going to cut it in the NBA, especially when you are a below average shooter.

He already has the pros respect for years. Hit Paul Pierce for 41 in LA summer league, busted Baron Davis at UCLA pick up runs, more than held his own against Michael Jordan at his camp. Played well against Kobe Bryant. 4 time ABCD camp attendee, 3 Mr. Basketballs, 3 State championships, 5 time all state(varsity since 7th grade), every major All American list, NBA Lottery pick since sophomore year. He can play and will score well in the League, but he is not a Lebron like player.

Marginal, right. Have you seen what he has done during his career? He is not Lebron, but if he was not a exceptional prospect, he would not be considered as high as he is nor where he was before. Killing cats 5+ years older than him since 6th grade. Multiple awards, AAU and national camp dominance. His record speaks for itself.
