Mountain will never be in the Rock Hall of Fame because they never sold more then five million albums. Flash in the pan band destroyed by drugs.
By: ENUSPAGENUS. on 03 Dec 08, 00:15:37
Steve Knight is playing in a band called "Velmous". He is also writing a book with ND SMART II called,"Other Side of the Mountain".

u mean Leslie's not in the R&R Hall of Fame YET?!! wtf?! we need a petition.
By: depper. on 25 Nov 08, 01:04:57
Steve Knight went into obscurity after his departure from Mountain. After his 1972 departure from Mountain, Knight returned to his Jazz roots, working in specialty engineering (as a door engineer), and as a songwriter, author and part-time musician. In 1999 he moved to Woodstock NY elected to a seat on the Woodstock Town Board. After 4 straight terms, he quit and has returned to private life including an upcoming music project.

Why is Steve Knight(keyboard player)never mentioned as being part of this band? Is he still around?
By: drumsanddrumming. on 20 Nov 08, 21:48:22
No band like MOUNTAIN!
By: depper. on 16 Nov 08, 22:08:50
are you serious? wow, Leslie's having a tough tour... but I think its his best tour since the early 70's. I was in NY to see Satch and West play together (double encore). I would have emptied my bank account to see that, so Im glad I did! Leslie needs the R&R Hall of Fame. He's done too much and meant to much to this industry.

I'm right there with you. MTV has more to destroy music than good. Instead of promoting music and giving respect to music and musicians that mattered, like Mountain and thousands of others, it sold-out completely. Fuck MTV.

What band was WBL?
By: ttty2t1j3. on 10 Nov 08, 16:27:27
i just saw him in phoenix yesterday at a satch concert. One of Corky's drum sticks landed behind Leslie and he tripped on it and messed up his knee a bit. Thought he was having a heart attack up there lol. He was great though.
By: AnthemForOne. on 08 Nov 08, 15:05:04
Reason number 3,847 why MTV is the Great Satan of music: In absolutely no way does Mountain succeed in the oppressive image-above-all industry that MTV has wrought. Take back the rock! Boycott MTV and go find the new underground. Keep it real.

By: depper. on 15 Oct 08, 18:38:21
Yes Leslie has beaten cancer in the past. But Cancer always has the chance to "come back". I'll get a definitive answer at the show Saturday.
