that's funny as hell. Verizon rocks though, never liked it for years cuz i was stuck with AT&T crap, and then went to T-mobile due to its overseas GSM network. Then had crappy crappy Cingular and now Verizon. Service has been the best and the FiOS even kicks ass.

I was one of the 300+ people following Paul around when we made the commercial. Aside from Paul and the guys with the hard hats, the ONLY other people that were hired for the commercial were the one guy talking on the cellphone during most of the commercial, and the two friends with cellphone that show up near the end. The other people did not know there was a commercial being filmed until the 'Verizon Network' was right there in front of their eyes......so their reactions are all unstaged.

the first blackberry storm update has been leaked on the crackberry website, apparently its fixed a lot of bugs in the storm and made it faster. the official release is tuesday i believe. also more updates are said to be released later in december....maybe people have to wait till dec 5/15 to get their storm because RIM wanted them to get an updated version...idk

i had an iphone and traded it for the storm. its much faster for me and more reliable. updates will eb reeased soon to fix any bugs it had, just like the iphone was. and the suretouch can be disabled so the screen works like an iphone. love my storm!

i love the touch screen on the storm! you can move the screen around without selecting things. I can scroll up and down by lightly touching the screen, and then press down when i want to select something. with my old iphone i would end up pressing links when i just wanted to scroll, very annoying. so glad i got my storm!

wow you don't know what you are talking about. youtube works great on my storm. the screen is the same as on any other touchscreen, including my old iphone. 3G is available in most countries around the world, especially since it started in europe. all my itunes songs transfered effortlessly, all my vids transfered to my storm easy too. Its faster than my old iphone. newer models will have wifi. get your facts straight. im am so glad i traded in my iphone for the storm. never looking back.

no it's not possible. i feel the same way. having facebook would be sweet, but the price for the data usage is what kills you in the contract. when you go to get any kind of blackberry, you're required to purchase a $29.99 or $49.99 addition to your minutes/texts. kinda sucks, but what can ya do.

I don't get that either.. 2 MP camera (LOL), no qwerty keyboard, no memory card slot, if battery goes faulty you have to send the whole thing away as it's built in, it uses Safari web browser, keys for typing are too close together (so you need skinny fingers or a stick to type or you will make typos). Someone mentioned other points but can't remember what they are. iPhone is not the best touch screen phone, it's about opinion and taste.

I can't understand how so many people are commenting on how great the Storm is sight unseen.I have it sitting on my desk as I type and I can assure you, Noah' review is on point. The keyboard is too cramped and you cannot type as fast with the keyboard technology. So many errors. Typing one-handed in portrait mode is better, but I prefer qwerty. g1 is the best touch screen phone out there. I have used both iphone and storm, they both have flaws. NO TRACKWHEEL ON THE STORM, and the great thing about the blackberry is the trackwheel. NO WIFI ON THE STORM. CLICKABLE screen not as good as a physical keyboard. THE APPZ MARKET FOR STORM SUCKS. GET A G1 it is cheaper, not only the phone, but the T mobile data plan also. I use wifi mostly and also there are a lot of 3G network for T mobile, so need to worry about coverage too much.

Thing is though, the mobile web card in treo's is faulty. try the same test with a moto q and it will rape the sprint phone. Same reason the Iphone sprint test is done with a treo~only people in the wireless industrys are aware the treo modems are faulty.

My understanding was that Verizon allows you enough data to check out a certain number of page views (estimated); when you use five tabs at once to check MySpace, FaceBook, YouTube, Gmail, and etc. it uses up a lot of bandwidth. The whole point of broadband is mobility. Bluetooth is a slow technology in general. Its specifically for syncing or voice calls. No one can expect to use bluetooth on a fast connection do to the technology itself does not have fast enough decompression. I think its funny you think verizon discourages laptop use when that is primarily how they sell service. I am with was with sprint and switched to verizon because of the more areas i can get on my laptop.

Tabbed browsing does not increase your bandwidth. When you visit a page it downloads the kilobytes one time until you access something else on the page. Tabbed browsing seriously was not your problem and its really funny that you think tabbed browsing is an issue. Tabbed browsing is the same thing as visiting a web page. Its the TX/RX transfers that increase bandwidth loss.

What 99.99% of you twits fail to realize is it depends on location of CDMA/EVDO towers. If a Sprint tower is closer to the vicinity of the user than the Verizon tower, of COURSE it's going to be faster. The Palm TREO in any model formfactor does not show the signal strength of the data network, just the voice network. Because it's funny, 80% of the PDA user base we get tells us we're faster than Sprint or T-Mobile...gee, wonder why?
