you would be so tired it would be like dancing on a bed for hours they just thought of the best thing that could be put in a video but if ever tried would be ridiculously stupid

Ambulance X - Yeah I figured, but there have to be some affordable ways to tap into some of the kinetic energy created. Revolving doors and such...

Problem is its going to cost a lot more than it saves... The club would reap publicity from the investment which will help pay for it...

You've got to respect corporations like Toyota for sponsoring such technologies. Of course, it is in their interests to invest in alternative sources of energy a la hybrid, piezoelectricity, solar and others.

They figure 5 to 10 watts generated per person. This kind of tech should be used in huge train stations like Penn and Grand Central that get hundreds of thousands of people every day.
By: ariaofsilence. on 16 Apr 08, 21:21:27
Cost is nothing. It's a manmade value. They print more money everyday. Overall benefit nulls cost.
By: Hans293. on 16 Apr 08, 20:12:25
Weighing costs against benefits is important. If that concern makes Chriswaterguy "sound like a republican", then he is representing the republicans well.

The dance club thing is obviously just to sell the technology. There are tons of better ways to use it. Say, New York Streets?
By: Str8KroniK. on 11 Jan 08, 02:55:46
the point isnt that it would create enough energy to run other things. the point is that it produces enough energy to power it self. if every thing produced enough energy to power it self then we all would be very happy people cause that means no more gas bills, but how realistic is that idea. i have no idea. i would have to see how much energy it produce to how much pressure is applied.
By: pharcyde7. on 09 Jan 08, 19:27:04
Realistically though, how much electricity could the dance floor save in relation to how much the night club uses? A tiny, tiny amount i'm guessing.

Nope. Don't have to defend myself to you. If you can't see it, then you probably wouldn't understand it.
By: paperwarrior. on 09 Dec 07, 01:15:20
And can you please tell me what this point is?
By: ariaofsilence. on 09 Dec 07, 01:08:53
The former.

Pardon, ariaofsilence, but does your message present a good, arguable point, or are you just being a troll?

Um dia ainda me mudo pra aí...
