Of all the various version of Gimme Shelter that are available to listen to I especially like this one by Michael Hedges. I saw dylan a couple of weeks ago in Victoria. What a disappointment. Shitty sound, he wore this hat so you couldn't see his face, played a bunch of really lame songs. From 83 onwards through all the good and bad in my life there is a Taylor Dayne song that conjures the emotion of any given hurt, joy etc.. Her "Love will lead you back" and "Send me a lover" are particularly good bittersweet examples of her vocal range. Unfortunately Madonna and the like had everyone looking at tits and ass and Taylor and her incredible talent got lost in the googaw. A great great talent and definatly not hard to look at.
