The 767-400 is rather sleek looking, in my opinion. It fit in naturally with Continental's and especially Delta's existing fleet as they already had many 767s. It had a couple of drawbacks, in comparison with the the similar sized Airbus 330-200, however. It had shorter range and could not carry industry standard LD3 cargo containers side-by-side. The 767 family was also older than the 330 family. These drawbacks could not be quite made up for the fact that the 767-400 was lighter.

I think this hard landing is caused by the flying pilot. On the last moment before touch down you have to pull back easy on the stick to let the airplane flote on the air, the last moment before touch down the airplane fly's almost horizontal. This pilot didn't pulled enough back on the stick. The plane just flew at the runway.

A great set of videos only to be spoilt by the crap ATC sounds of the "Just Flight 2005" Traffic package. Why don't you use "RC4" ATC add-on? It's much more realistic with "REAL" pre-recorded ATC chatter and RC4 vector you properly to the runways.

Very nice vid, I liked the Dawn setting, really brings out the environment. I'd recommend the use of more tower views, especially since you can place them anywhere and watch the plane fly by, plus make sure to turn off the "show me" taxi lines. Other than that, nice setup!

Can someone help with active sky6 for 2004. When i first installed it i could get all my nighttime building textures to light up in the dusk. Instead of waiting only till it gets dark. Looked far more realistic with night lighting before it actually got pitch black and with amazing sunsets. All of a sudden its back to night lighting until its pitch black. Is there a setting or can i do something to a config to set this up????

Sometimes you have to come in high at Innsbruck, the valley gets some serious wind shifts, and on short final you can sometimes be faced with a real high and unexpected sink rate because of a significant wind shift. Better to be a bit high in this situation.

Thanks a bunch. I captured a few FSX and X-Plane clips with Fraps and rendered using Vegas Platinum (wmv format) but still can't come close to your efficiency. I wonder if it's because Adobe Premiere Pro is utra compatible with Adobe Flash or is just much better than Vegas Plat, or both.

it's probly cause you are running an XP built game on vista. I had the same problem before i got FSX i had FS9 on vista and the graphics god danm horrid and then i went to XP and it works fine good graphics, and back to vista and it's(SHIT).

I like how these inflight safety videos seem to mirror the nation of the airline using them; I see this one as an example of being straight to the point, no messing about kind of attitude. Very concise and no fannying around - there is an airline's safety demo on youtube which is almost 20 mins - one could be half way to their destination (UK internal flight maybe) within that time.

final answer number 4, so in conclusion, press autopilot button, then press hdg sel button (the black button in middle of knob) to go to your heading, then selec a verticle speed that will allow the plane to reach the altutude you want and press the verticle hold button, and it should do as told. Definitly learn how to use the FMC which will handle all of that automatically. I'd be glad to help.

answer part 3, it will go to the altitude in the window, while maintaining the current spped that is in the speed window. This is not a very detailed description of the full capabilities of the Automatics, but it goes to show you that by just pushing the Autopilot button , the plane will only maintain the current bank if it's more than 5 or so degrees (otherwise it will just level the wings), and it will maitain the current verticle speed you were at when you pressed the button.

Answer part 2. So now it will maintain the heading you put in the heading window. Now for altitude. If you press the alt hold button, it will try to go back to the altitude it was at when you pressed the button, not what's in the window. To make it climb to your selected altitude you can do two things. 1. Set a verticle speed that will allow it to capture the altitude in your window, once it gets there it will hold that altitude. 2. press the FLCH button, and what it will do is....

Ask the guys at Allegiant, Flygolbspan, Monarch Airlines, My Travel, and Iceland Air. I know it's hard to believe but customers of the 767 have a choice of engines. The nerve right? He landed way to long. Landing gear touched down passed the touched down zone and decided to abort landing. This is not a boeing 767-300, engines on a 767 are much bigger in diameter and sounds much different at full power.

Oh I understand now, to get that view, all you have to do is use the default view movement keys to move backwards out of the cockpit, through the invisible fuselage until you're right next to the wing. As long as you turn your head enough to JUST see the wings, it'll look like you're sitting in the cabin.

FAA standards is always have 2 doors on each side of the cabin to ensure the 90secs evacuation(especially on large aircrafts excluding regional turboprops)And do they always assure that the door opens completely when it crash? what if it runs out of power? depends on the model. The 767-200 only has ONE front door (one on either side anyway), but the 300 has two because it's a longer aircraft. Usually in a case like that the number two door (2L) just infront of the wing is used for passengers, maybe you saw the actual front door (1L) being used.
