omg hell no!!Spartans fought with the Athenians in the Peloponesian war but not with the whole rest of Greece!in ancient times EVERY city of Greece had its own king or ruler( it depends if they had democracy or a kindom).So Athena ,Sparta,Crete,Corfu,Thesally,Macedonia, etc etc were dofferent city states but all of them were Greeks speaking Greek worshiping the same gods(of Olympus)and united to fight against the Persians.Somethins like the united states of America today..

Of course later on the capital of the roman empire went on to be Konstantinople, which became the "eastern" part of the empire, where Greek replaced the latin and then became the BYZANTINE empire, which as we all know was essentially a GREEK one and whic lasted for over 1000 years ;)
