car i had one for 15 years bought as good core car but need restoering did this over 2 years when finished it was as it came from the factory no more no less than is, won loads of shows & events it was very advanced in its day, 40% hand built, most of the uk judges did not know what they were looking at. when new you could by 2 E type jags or eight MGB's £4100 when new plus extras, most stupid comment i had of a judge was,was it difficult to convert to a diesel, thats britain for u.

I did myself the favour to buy a Pagoda a few years ago. This car is stunningly beautiful (it does not really show in the clip) and can be used in today's traffic without any limitations (not a given for a classic car). Feels at ease on the Autobahn at 100 - 110 mph but also in the city. Admittedly a 300SL Roadster has a stronger motor but you cannot drive a car that cost the equivalent of a sumptuous house without strong restraints.

actually, there is a lot of potential in this "second life" I think. Lots of people are commenting that only losers with no life go on to escape thier current one, but in actuallity, second life is kind of boring to "act out" real" life, for now at least. I think the more we expand into the digital world, the more important an application like second life will and could be. Who knows, lots of people are skeptical of new things, and maybe second life is a dud, but dont knock it just yet.

Yep, 707 ft.-lbs. of torque. The SL65 AMG is one hell of a car. It's more for power and torque than it is for 0 to 60mph acceleration times, but it gives an impressive share of both. You have to give credit to a 0 to 60mph time of 3.7 seconds (0 to 62mph in 3.8, so probably 0.1 seconds less to just 60mph).

It rockets to 60mph in 3.7 seconds, and 199mph is actually very impressive. Unless you have a Bugatti Veyron at home, you've gotta give credit to a 670bhp convertible with a hell of a lot of luxury, performance, everything. "Not kllingly fast to 62mph", bullshit.

echt ein tolles automobil ! hätte hätte hätte...ich n paar milliönchen, würde ich mir sowwohl einen Mercedes als auch einen Porsche kaufen, evt. auch noch n kleenen audi...nich zu vergessen einen opel, nur um denen bisschen zu helfen^^ ich hätte sogar n schlechtes gewissen, wenn ich 25mio gewinnen würde und mir dann ein auto für 200.000 ? kaufen würde, ja ich bin ein schwabe :-(

definitiv nicht,denn lässt sich anhand dieser aussage wohl eher nicht der intelekt feststellen!seis drumm,sicher ist es nur meine meinung,ich spreche schließlich nur für mich! begründen kann ich es in jedem fall...nicht nur was die fahrleistunegn betrifft,auch was die gesamte unternehmensstruktur(also die aufbauorganisation) betrifft! für den verbraucher gilt allerdings gleich wohl:"jedem das seine" (wie du schon sagtest). ps:ich fahre beide nicht!

Ja definitiv. Es seie denn du würdest sagen "Ich bin der Meinung, Porsche sei besser." Das wäre korrekt, man kann ja nur für sich selber reden. Ich finde Porsche auch besser aber jeder Wagen hat seine Liebhaber. Es gibt ja auch Menschen die Fiat Multipla fahren. Kenne aber keine persönlich. ;)

richtig...selbst ein 911 gt2 ist in der beschleunigung (0-100=3,7sec) und in der vmax (329km/h) schneller als der sl65 amg bs,dieser benötigt 3,9sec auf 100km/h und ist in der vmax 9 km langsamer!von einem porsche carrera gt oder gar einem rt12 reden wir hier noch gar nicht... fazit:alles mega-geile autos,mit dem richtigen porsche hält allerdings auch dieser black series nicht mit!

ich glaub ihr seid alle hängengeblieben.. als ob ich so einen motor in einen ungetunten s2000 einbauen würde! aber ein s2000 kostet momentan 35.000 und wenn man ca das doppelte investiert und dazu packt kommt man locker auf 700 ps und mit sportkupplung rennfahrwerk und alles drum und dran würde auch sieser sl nicht an den s2000 rankommen und wäre immernoch 3fach so teuer!
