Flamenco guitar uses alot of rest strokes and strumming patterns and many time signatures for each style. for example, a bulerias is 12/8 time. Flamenco tends to generally fall into bulerias, tangos, rumbas, etc. Rodrigo y Gabriela don't really play flamenco per se, but it's damn cool nonetheless.
