i tested a regular holy grail in the effects loop of a mesa 3 channel dual rectifier today and it muffled the amp so badly, i was disappointed, and I got some nasty feedback with the reverb not even turned up halfway.

I own the regular Holy Grail, but everytime I crank the verb to get it going deep, it drops my signal significantly and is really bothersome live. Has the Holy Grail Plus taken care of that problem with the blend knob? I just worry that if I blend a lot of dry signal that no matter how deep I go, it won't be audible with the wet stuff behind it.

It's definitely worth it because the options sound so good. The Holy Grail+ is totally analog. The Holier Grail runs at $200 and is analog with reverse gating options if you want something that is a one shot deal in the studio. But it has a limited Amount knob with only 2 choices it seems. The Holiest Grail is digital.

is the holy grail+ analog or digital? and is this worth the extra &20 over the regular holy grail? i'm going to get a reverb and i have it down to those two so any thoughts would be much appreciated.
