You need a cord, it hsould come with your vid cam, or if you vid cam is recording by using those Dvd thingys then then put the DVD in your comp, then the rest should be in your manual. Now if you have those VHS one, you need a cord, and use Windows movie maker, if you need anymore help, contact your camcorder manufacter.

In regards to Sony Vegas - No matter which format you choose to render your final project with a HD video (1920x1080i which this cam shoots as) can only be rendered at maximum of 1920 x 1440 in the end. So was could of given it the paper layering effect? (the crappy Ironman Bluray movie) The CG looked great, but it didn't look realistic. At the theater w/ DLP there is depth and the CG blends in with the set and background. Here the actors had a nasty black outline, and CG was obviously separated.

apparently it either 1) wasn't bluray 2) it was an HD(dvd) rip on a bluray disk(gotte be pretty stupid to do that) 3) You have 40 inch CRT TV with resolution 800*600 optically magnified to fit the screen. 4) you didn't watch the movie to acheive full BlueRay quality you should have at least 1080 HDTV, a blueray player, and a blueray disc with 40gig movie on it.
