Timeless track. The EP version came out earlier but I recall this catching on big time in the clubs right around when the Surrender LP from Chemical Brothers was blowing up. Great times. There was some amazing music that came out between 1998-1999.

this movie oblivious to me and i would never think twice about choosing to watch it, but then oneday i watched it and i was like WOAH ! sooooo goood . i recommend people watch it, even for those who arent a big fan of fantasy, i didn't like the genre fantasy much but this was one hell of a good fantasy movie. My wife and I stayed at the stardust in april, 1983, for our honeymoon. We went back to Vegas this year for our 25th anniversary. Vegas 1983 no longer exists. Only one building still stands from that time. Even the frontier, next to the stardust, is gone. Plenty of new construction was going on, too. Vegas is unreal.

What a waste of time...blow the damm thing up already and stop wasting time with all the light and sound effects. Then when it does crash down, you can't even see the damm thing. Even the gay tiger guys were better than this crap.

I have to agree with both of you. The more I learn of his work, the more amazed I am by his talent. Several years ago, on the NPR program, Fresh Air, they did an hour long retrospective of Hoagy Carmichael's life. It gave me an even greater appreciation of his genius. Thanks for the post!

Hoagy was born in my hometown, Bloomington, Indiana. We have a bronze statue of him on campus (IU). I've been to his grave before many times.
