Where are the black guys! I would have preferred a more faithful rendition, and I didn't care for the squeeky voices. As a fan of lego version however, I found it silly and good with great animation effects!The Thing is one of my favorite movies; this was a great piece on it!

The Thing hated?? Rue Morgue just did a HUGE anniversary retrospective on it...hated? Nobody I know hates this gem...cheesy effects?? Really? Tense, great performances from everyone, and amazing 'real time effects', not that souless CGI excrement..This movie was a little to bleak for it's time...remember ET came out around the same time...people wanted feel good movies at the time...this is NOT a feel good movie...it's a creepy classic.

I saw them live in Lexington a few years back. They played in the middle of a coffee shop with about 30 or so of us crowded around them. There was no stage. It was so quiet, you could hear a pin drop. I've seen many concerts, but the performance was easily one of the best I've ever seen. I never knew a concert could be so intimate and awesome. Thanks so much for the comment. Pat was a great man and our family misses him as if he died just yesterday. This video us hard to watch but it gives my kids great pleasure seeing thier uncles play. His writing was so awesome it's nice to know there are people still enjoying and thinking about his thoughts and words.
