im not saying if circular breathing is or isnt possible in that piece but you can clearly see (especially near the end that he's not circular breathing) between 2:11 and the end there are a few great examples of him running out of breath. Yes, circular breathing CAN be done at high speed--if you're very good. Rafael Mendez did a piece, "Moto Perpetua", I think.....for about 4 1/2 minutes, insanely fast...NO stops or pauses for breathing...at all.

well good for u ive played tuba for 8 years, jazz trombone for 5, and euphonium for 5 years. the only way to do that cleanly is either having a french horn do a "sneeze" technique on it, muting a trombone with a cup mute, or having a trombone-french horn duet at that part mainly being a trade-off idea.
